RESIDENT ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION:

St. John’s Riverside Hospital sponsors an ACGME approved categorical medicine residency, with focus on community-based practice. All qualified applicants are considered for interviews, however, the volume of applicants precludes us from offering interviews to all qualified candidates.

We accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) only and cannot accept applications in any other format. Documents submitted separated by email, fax or other modality WILL NOT be considered as part of the applicant’s file. No applicants will be considered outside of the National Resident Match Program.

While St. John’s Riverside Hospital will consider international medical graduates, we cannot consider applications from candidates requiring VISA sponsorship. At this time, we do not sponsor VISAs. We also require U.S. clinical experience (minimal 8-12 weeks) and U.S. letters of recommendation.

St. John’s Riverside Hospital will consider all qualified applicants on the basis of their academic performance, Dean’s letter and recommendations, accolades, aptitude, credentials, communication skills, community service and personal attributes, without regard of their sex, race, age, religion, color, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
